What To Expect Our Tax Process To Look Like?
Step 1
Drop off tax documents
The first step is to drop off all of your physical tax documents in the office, or you can send digital copies through the client portal. Click here for a list of documents to have prepared. To help us process your tax returns as efficiently as possible, please separate all tax documents by return type. For example, if parents and children are filing separate tax returns, please submit their documents in separate envelopes or clearly separated files.
*Please note that your documents will not be marked as fully received until all required documents have been submitted.*

Step 2
review the documents / ask for additional information
Your documents will be added to our queue in the order we receive them. Your tax professional will review your documents and begin preparing your return. If they have any questions or concerns during the review, we will reach out to you for clarification or any additional information needed.
Step 3
Get in touch with you / Schedule pick-up time
Once your tax return is complete, one of our support staff members will reach out to let you know that your return is ready.
During tax season (First Monday of January through April 15), we require an appointment for all return pickups. This helps us manage our schedule and ensure your privacy when reviewing your return.

Step 4
Pick- Up return / Sign Returns
When you arrive to pick up your tax return, we will provide you with a copy of the tax return along with a letter summarizing your tax results. The packet will include applicable payment and estimate vouchers and instructions on how to pay online.
You are welcome to review your return and accompanying documents on your own, or we can provide you with a brief summary of the results and answer any questions you may have.
We cannot electronically file your returns until we receive the signed Form 8879 authorization form(s) back from you. You may return them by dropping them off at our office, mailing them, or uploading them through the client portal.
If you are married filing jointly, both spouses are required to sign the authorization forms.

Step 5
E-file returns
Once we receive your signed Form 8879 authorization forms, your tax professional will electronically file your federal and state tax returns.
Your local tax return will be electronically filed only if you have a balance due of $1 or less and if your return is filed through Centre Tax Agency.
If your local return does not meet these requirements, we will provide you with instructions for mailing your local tax return.
